Lightspeed has 15 years of stereoscopic 3D experience, and has provided content for some of the world’s most image-conscious clients. Our 3D productions have also been seen by millions through museum theaters and a world exposition. Behind the scenes, Lightspeed has developed unique proprietary methods for digital 3D filmmaking, and Lightspeed’s DepthQ Server® software is being used by Imax, Disney Imagineering, SimEx-Iwerks, and DNA Productions in the creation of their own 3D content.Systems Integration and Exhibit Design
Lightspeed has been delivering far more than content since it's inception. We not only develop our own display hardware and software in-house, but we are a systems integrator and authorized reseller of top-quality visualization technologies. We excel at identifying and integrating the best combination of components to solve any visualization challenge, and have delivered turnkey solutions to many delighted clients.After successfully completing both the production and installation of one such turnkey solution - a ride-film for corporate client Continental Teves in 2003 - Lightspeed was asked to expand our creative responsibilities to include exhibit design for their 2006 mobile marketing project. Lightspeed mapped out a complete guest experience from entrance to exit that integrated advanced digital video technologies into clever, interactive exhibit pieces.
While exhibit design is admittedly a new direction for Lightspeed, the elements that make a great exhibit - creative vision paired with artistic and technical savvy - are not.

Bob provides Lightspeed's primary artistic inspiration, with 25 years of experience directing, producing, writing, editing and animating. In addition, Bob's intimate knowledge of stereoscopic 3D technologies, algorithms and techniques now spans 22 years.
Kirk Melby, Vice President-Technology
Kirk brings 18 years of professional technical experience to Lightspeed. He is a highly skilled designer, with extensive knowledge of projection equipment and the integration of video and camera technologies.
Dan Lawrence, Senior Technology Manager
Dan is key to Lightspeed's daily operation, with 19 years of professional computer and electronics experience. He oversees Lightspeed's software development, digital video, computer network, and client services.
Dr Michal Hušák, Senior Software Engineer
Dr. Husak has worked to develop stereoscopic OpenGL technologies, resulting from his efforts to improve visualization of chemical structures within his primary field of research at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague.
